Privacy Policy

English Fun is a playful, child-friendly English learning adventure. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Last updated: August 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the English Fun mobile application (“English Fun”, “the app”) published by Fajar Mreza (“we”, “us”). By using the app, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information stored on your device

English Fun stores learning preferences and progress on the device so the adventure can continue where it left off. This may include a learner nickname, completed activities, stars, streaks, settings, and the local status of the optional ad-removal purchase.

This information is not sent to our own servers. Parents can reset learning progress from the in-app parent dashboard, or remove the app and its local data from the device.

2. Voice and microphone

The “Ucapkan!” speaking activity may request microphone access so the learner can practise pronunciation. The app uses the device’s speech-recognition service to evaluate the activity. English Fun does not record or upload voice recordings to our own servers.

Microphone access can be denied or revoked in Android settings. The rest of the learning activities remain available.

3. Advertising

English Fun may show adaptive banner ads on hub screens, a medium-rectangle ad on the post-game result screen, and occasional interstitial ads when a learner leaves that result screen. Ads are never shown during gameplay, lessons, or speaking activities. Because the app is designed for children, ads are configured to be non-personalized and child-directed, with content-rating safeguards and frequency limits on full-screen ads. Google may process limited technical information needed to deliver, limit, measure, and protect advertising, according to its own policies.

Parents can purchase the one-time “Remove Ads” product in the app. The purchase is processed by Google Play Billing; English Fun keeps only the local entitlement needed to honor the purchase.

For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Play Families Policy.

4. Information we do not request

English Fun does not require an account and does not ask for precise location, contacts, photos, or access to files. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own servers.

5. Children’s privacy

English Fun is intended for children and families. We design the experience to minimize data use, keep learning progress local, and provide parent-facing controls. Parents or guardians should supervise device permissions and purchases.

6. Third-party services

The app may rely on the following services to function:

Each service may handle information under its own privacy policy and terms.

7. Contact

Questions, parent requests, or privacy concerns can be sent to fajar.mreza@gmail.com.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app’s features or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date above will show the latest version. Continued use of the app after an update means the updated policy applies.
