F7 Developer operates Shardfall: The Sundering ("Shardfall"). This policy explains what information Shardfall handles when you use optional online features, Google sign-in, Google Play purchases, and advertising.

Information we handle

Signing in is optional. If you choose Google sign-in, Shardfall and its backend receive basic account information Google makes available for sign-in, such as your email address, display name, and a Google account identifier. We use it to create and secure your Shardfall account and associate your cloud save and paid entitlements with it.

With sign-in, Shardfall can store a cloud save snapshot containing game progress, collection, decks, settings, achievements, quests, and in-game currency balances. The backend also stores Google Play product IDs, purchase tokens, order IDs, Gold amounts, verification results, and refund or chargeback state. This delivers purchased Gold, restores it after reinstall, prevents duplicate delivery, and removes an entitlement when Google Play reports a voided purchase.

Google Play processes payment. Shardfall does not receive or store your credit-card number, bank details, or Google Play payment credentials.

Advertising and consent data

Shardfall uses Google Mobile Ads to display banner and interstitial ads to players who have not purchased Remove Ads. Depending on your location and privacy choices, Google Mobile Ads may process device or advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, app interactions, diagnostics, and consent signals to deliver, measure, prevent fraud in, and personalize or limit advertising.

Where required, Shardfall uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent before requesting ads and provides a Privacy choices entry point so consent can be reviewed or withdrawn.

Use and sharing

We use information to provide sign-in and cloud save, restore progress and verified Gold, verify purchases, handle refunds, protect the purchase ledger, show and measure advertising according to applicable consent choices, and respond to support. Shardfall does not sell personal information. Advertising personalization, when available, is controlled by the consent choices presented for the player's region.

Google provides sign-in, billing, Google Mobile Ads, and User Messaging Platform consent services. Supabase provides authentication, database, and server-side functions.

Local storage

Shardfall can run offline. Local data remains on your device until you clear app storage or uninstall. A signed-in copy of the selected save and verified entitlements may remain in the cloud until deletion is requested.

Retention and deletion

You can permanently delete your signed-in account from Shardfall Settings or follow the instructions on the Shardfall account deletion page. We delete data we control except information retained for security, fraud prevention, legal, tax, or payment-record purposes.

Children and security

Shardfall is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We use access controls and authenticated backend requests, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app changes. The current version remains available at this public URL with a new update date.
